Jacqui has owned and managed Quintessential Quarters since February 2013 gaining a fantastic reputation for the business in that time. Her past experience includes starting up a licensed dog boarding business in Edinburgh providing tailor-made care for each individual dog, which quickly developed an excellent reputation amongst all her Clients.
She is passionate about animals and her working career started as a Trainee Veterinary Nurse in Berkshire. She has always owned both dogs and cats and has a wealth of knowledge in their health and welfare. She is a Qualified Pet First Aider. She gained a distinction in The City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate of the Operational Principles of Kennels & Catteries. She is a Kennel Club Assured Breeder of Flat-coated Retrievers, and has enjoyed some success in the dog show world with her dogs and those she has bred including a Show Champion and placings at Crufts. Jacqui holds a City & Guilds Level 3 Qualification in Dog Grooming where she gained a Distinction after training with Jitka Krizova at Vita Canis in Uttoxeter.
Jacqui has a working knowledge of gundog training and regularly enjoys taking her own personally trained retrievers out to pick up on a shoot. She is currently studying for her Level 4 Accredited Advanced Canine Behaviour Diploma with the British College of Canine Studies.
