In the words of Oscar Hammerstein “If you don’t have a dream, how are you gonna make a dream come true?” My dream had always been to run a Boarding Cattery.
With my passion for animals and over 30 years’ experience of having them in my life this had driven my desire to build and run my own cattery. I wanted to ensure I could offer the best possible standards and service so I set about putting this plan into action. I opened Woodside Luxury Cattery in March 2017.
The chalets offer the highest standards of hygiene, security and comfort. All chalets have an internal thermostatically heated sleeping area and outdoor covered runs. Heated beds for the winter and cooling pads for the summer. The luxury accommodation is set in beautiful, calm & peaceful countryside surroundings with fantastic views of the woodland along with birds, squirrels and Muntjac Deer keeping my guests entertained, along with ‘Captain’ Peacock & Mrs Slocombe (aka Mollie).
Running Woodside Luxury Cattery myself also allows me to really get to know my cat guests and their needs ensuring they get the right individual attention they deserve. I love the cats like they were my own and I don’t wish for them to want for anything. Making the cats happy and giving them all the love and cuddles they want – giving a ‘home from home’ experience whilst on their holiday.
In addition to my ‘Everyday Menu’ I also offer a ‘Luxury Menu’ – so that your cat(s) can have that extra special dining experience whilst on their holiday. The latter includes my ‘Turndown Service’ – a selection of cat treats from the mini-bar and some creamy cat milk just before bed for the ‘puuurrrfect’ boarding experience.
