The Polstain Farm Cattery Story

Pedigree Pens have supplied a facility of 10 Walk-in Style Pens , Prep Room and Office for Pip and Rod Wootton, owners of Polstain Farm Cattery.

“Opening a cattery has been in our minds and in the planning stage for quite a while, then over New Year 2017 we decided to get on with it! The plans became actions in April and we are nearly there- hopefully opening in late  August 2017.

We both have a love of animals and always been around cats. Our 2 cats are now 8 years old and are  watching the building works with interest.

Pip has recently semi retired from social care and Rod has been in farming all his life.

The cattery is in a sheltered spot on the farm next to our home so we are able to  keep a close eye on it.

As a small working farm we have sheep and cattle of our own and horses that stay here. We also have 2 daft dogs, both well behaved and live happily with our 2 cats. They are friendly and like meeting new people but will announce your arrival if you arrive out of opening hours!

If you would like to come and see our brand new, state of the art facilities please do ring and we will be happy to show you round.”
