The
Animal Warden Service aims to promote responsible pet ownership
through education and enforcement. Stray and unattended dogs
are picked up and reported. Dog wardens patrol the borough enforcing
the Dogs (Fouling of Land) Act 1996, which carries a maximum
fine of £1000 for failing to 'scoop the poop'.
