The Blue Cross Lewknor
This centre has two-acres of land, together with modern kennel facilities, ample office space, plenty of staff housing, and room for expansion. A cattery that holds 40 cats has been built recently and there is now space for rabbits and other small animals. The Blue Cross started in 1897, the welfare problems faced by the many working horses in London were of particular concern. Now the growing number of household pets has led to a greater emphasis on supporting their needs while continuing to care for the needs of horses.
